About Siamaya Chocolate

Meet Neil

Neil Ransom is the CEO and co-founder of Siamaya Chocolate, Thailand's first bean-to-bar chocolate company. His passion for craft chocolate started in 2016 on a trip to Cape Town, South Africa where he discovered COCOAFAIR and De Villiers Chocolate.

He was blown away by their chocolate bars' unique and regional flavors and wanted to do something similar. The following year, he started Siamaya Chocolate with his friend, Kris, in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand.

His passion for flavor has led Siamaya to make some truly unique chocolate bars including a collection of Thai curry-inspired chocolates with inclusions like fried shallots, candied tomato, and Thai ginger.

With chocolate as their palette, Neil hopes the Siamaya team continues to share the Thai flavor experience with the world through unique and delicious Thai and tropical-inspired chocolate bars made with locally grown cacao.
