Amaure’s journey began in Ecuador in 1998, when a now-retired airline pilot purchased a plot of land with the intention of building his retirement haven. What he didn’t anticipate was that this land would eventually grow into the foundation of a thriving family business.
For over two decades, the family has cultivated cacao, mastering the art of farming and deepening their connection to the land. In 2024, along with the next generation, they embarked on a new chapter: crafting exceptional chocolate directly from their own cacao farm.
By growing, harvesting, and processing their own cacao, Amaure controls every step of the journey—from soil to bar—ensuring unmatched quality and flavor. Their “farm-to-bar” philosophy is rooted in decades of dedication, passion, and craftsmanship. Every chocolate bar tells a story—one of love, care, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
The name Amaure embodies love, quality, and dedication, values that are reflected not only in their chocolate but also in their brand. The logo is more than just a symbol—it represents the heart of their farm: the tallest and oldest tree in the area, standing proudly at around 160 feet. This tree has long been the soul of the land and now stands as the emblem of Amaure itself.
